Terms of Service

By accessing or using KonnectBot ("KonnectBot," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Additional terms may apply to specific features (for example, beta programs, marketplace integrations, or enterprise orders). Those terms become part of your agreement when you use the relevant features.

Description of services

KonnectBot provides cloud-based live chat, automation, team collaboration, analytics and related tools that may evolve over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable, except for changes required for security, compliance, or emergency reliability reasons.

We are not responsible for third-party services you connect (for example, ecommerce platforms or payment processors). Your use of those services is governed solely by your agreements with those providers.

To use certain features you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information
• Maintain the security of credentials and enable MFA where offered
• Notify us promptly of unauthorized access or security incidents
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account, including your team members
• Not share credentials or attempt to access accounts or data without authorization
• Ensure your use complies with applicable laws and industry rules (including marketing, privacy and telephony laws where relevant)

If you select a paid plan:

• Fees are billed in advance on the cycle you select (monthly or annual) unless otherwise stated
• Taxes may apply based on your location and billing information
• Upgrades take effect according to the plan rules shown at purchase; downgrades may take effect next cycle
• We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance
• Non-payment may result in suspension or termination after notice where required
• Unless mandated by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable

Some features may use artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, summaries, or classifications. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing content before sending it to end users, especially where legal, medical, or financial advice could be implied.

You will not use AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content, or to attempt to extract model training data or bypass usage limits.

KonnectBot retains all rights in the Services, software, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services during your subscription in accordance with these Terms.

You retain rights in your content. You grant us a license to host, process, transmit and display your content as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Services, secure our systems and comply with law. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content.

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Send malware, spam, or deceptive messages at scale
• Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or other users
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent technical limitations except where permitted by law
• Use the Services to build a competing product using our proprietary interfaces or confidential information
• Process sensitive categories of data without appropriate legal basis and safeguards as required by law

We may suspend access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, or if required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, access may cease and we may delete data in line with our retention policy and your plan.

Provisions that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations and governing law) will survive termination.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KONNECTBOT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (IF YOU DID NOT PAY FEES). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a different governing law is required by a signed enterprise agreement.

Courts in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms, unless applicable law requires otherwise or you have a separate written agreement with us specifying arbitration or another forum.

Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (such as email or in-product notification). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.
